Short Bio
Dr. Yasushi Kambayashi is an associate professor in the Department of Computer and Information Engineering from the Nippon Institute of Technology. He worked at Mitsubishi Research Institute as a staff researcher before joining the Institute. His research interests include theory of computation, theory and practice of programming languages, and political science. He received his PhD in Engineering from the University of Toledo, his MS in Computer Science from the University of Washington, and his BA in Law from Keio University. He is a committee member of the Japan Information-Technology Engineers Examination, a Fellow of IARIA, a committee member and the industry research chair of IARIA International Multi-Conference on Computing in the Global Information Technology and IARIA International Conference on Advances in P2P Systems, a committee member of Asia Pacific Symposium on Intelligent and Evolutionary Systems, an editorial board member of International Journal on Advances in Internet Technology, a review committee member of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications, and a member of ACM, IEEE Computer Society, Tau Beta Pi, IPSJ, JSSST, IEICE System Society, IADIS, and Japan Flutist Association.

SCOPE

Digital twin technology integrates the physical and digital worlds to accurately represent real-world systems, predict future conditions, and support optimal decision-making. This workshop promotes collaboration among researchers in artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, and data assimilation to advance predictive analytics and intelligent decision support. The program focuses on three core themes: Pattern Recognition and Prediction, Physics-Based Modeling and Numerical Analysis, and Data Assimilation and Multimodal Data Integration. By bringing together scientists and practitioners from diverse disciplines, the workshop aims to deepen understanding of the fundamental technologies underpinning next-generation digital twins. It also provides a forum for exchanging ideas, addressing current challenges, and exploring future research directions, thereby fostering innovation and progress in this rapidly evolving field and its applications.

PUBLICATIONS

After thorough reviewing by the workshop program committee, all accepted papers will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book - under an ISBN reference and on digital support.
