In this research work, we present a novel BDI (Belief-Desire-Intention) multiagent software architecture for registering and scheduling multi-participant events under an automatic and semi-automatic negotiating process in a BDI multiagent context. Interactions between users and software agents are performed using a user-centric combination of multimodal devices including traditional GUI software for PC or Web, and modern omnipresent mobile and wearable devices. The communication framework is an extension of the JaCa (Jason/Cartago) Platform for permitting multimodal interaction between BDI agents and users over an SOA microservices architecture. Most work on multiagent software is centred on traditional software architectures and devices like PCs. However, web interfaces and mobile and wearables devices are nearest to users having sufficient computing resources, including CPU, memory sizes, and multimodal capabilities, for permitting a richer human-software agent interaction. |
